How much does a wordpress website cost?

a fantastic infographic by Codeable

We answer the heading with, “how long is a piece of string?”. Some people would reply with “depends how long you cut it” and the same methodology can be applied to websites.

It really all depends on the work that is involved with getting your site up and running plus the time we take in meeting and discussing your plans.  We would then discuss and wire frame (mock up) your site and decide on the route forward, along with your hosting and email requirements.

At Noou we build both custom sites and also use a theme framework called Divi, by Elegant Themes. This theme framework allows us to be up and running with just a few clicks.

Now this is very quick and simple and doesn’t include things like branding, e-commerce and go to market strategies but our average cost is around £1000. WHAT? I know what you’re thinking, that’s costly – so to try and explain the team over at Codeable have put together a fantastic info-graphic to show the cost of doing it yourself compared to choosing an Agency.

Without giving the info-graphic message away, we’re on average a similar cost to doing it yourself give or take £290 (conversion rate GBP-USD 1 = 1.41) – is your time worth more than £290?
